Famurewa has 'perfect' visit

Powder Springs (Ga.) McEachern three-star rush end Henry Famurewa was among the group making official visits over the weekend. On Sunday, Famurewa told Cardinal Authority that his experience on campus was perfect.

Henry Famurewa committed to Louisville in June and has remained firm in his pledge throughout the recruiting process and coaching change.

This weekend the 6-foot-2, 230-pound rush end made his official visit with the Cardinals program.

"My visit was perfect," he told Cardinal Authority on Sunday.

The opportunity to visit with head coach Bobby Petrino and his staff, meeting current players and touring the school highlighted his time in on campus.

"It was great to meet with the new coaches," he said. "They are pretty excited about the way things are going.

"I hung out with James Quick the most. Getting to know a lot the players was great. I also got to tour all of the academic facilities and the university. It was a great visit."

Famurewa has no other official visits scheduled.

As a senior, Famurewa was among the state leaders and tops in his county with 16 sacks. A First Team All-State selection, he recorded 117 total tackles in 2013.
