Famurewa has 'great' in-home visit

Less than a week after having a 'perfect' official visit to the University of Louisville, defensive end Henry Famurewa had another positive experience with the Cardinals' coaching staff. Cardinal Authority spoke with Famurewa after an in-home visit.

Powder Springs (Ga.) McEachern three-star rush end Henry Famurewa said he's had nothing but positive experiences with the University of Louisville football programs new staff.

Famurewa had good conversations with the coaches and last weekend had what he called a "perfect" official visit with the Cardinals.

Now, on Thursday night Famurewa reports a "great, great" in-home visit with linebackers coach Tony Grantham.

"It was just great," Famurewa said, noting they talked about defense and just continued to build a relationship.

The 6-foot-2, 230-pound Famurewa said he can't wait for the Feb. 5 signing day, so he can official become a U of L Cardinal.

"Oh yeah, most definitely," he said.

As a senior, Famurewa was among the state leaders and tops in his county with 16 sacks. A First Team All-State selection, he recorded 117 total tackles in 2013.
