The University of Louisville will be hosting a bunch of prospects this weekend on official visits, including a three-star tight end.
Georgia Military coach Bert Williams said three-star tight end Ty Smith will make his final visit at Louisville this weekend.
The 6-foot-3, 245-pound Flournoy-Smith made a visit to South Florida before the holidays and was at Mississippi two weeks ago. He made a visit to Alabama last weekend.
"He's coming up there (this weekend)," Williams said, noting U of L defensive coordinator Todd Grantham was at Georgia Military earlier this week.
Williams said Smith played limited time this season, breaking his ankle in the third game. He came back at the end of the season and played the final two games of the season.
Smith finished the season with six catches, with five of those going for touchdowns.
"He was back 100 percent," Williams said. "(The TD stat) just shows that we should have thrown him the ball a little more."
The former Colquitt County, Ga., standout signed with Georgia and played in eight games as a true freshman two years ago. He had one catch and played primarily on special teams.
But he decided to transfer after he was arrested for a misdemeanor. He spent one year at Georgia Military and will have two years of eligibility left at the school he picks.
Cardinal Authority will keep you posted on the recruitment of Flournoy-Smith.
