Montgomery, Ala., Carver tight end Charles Standberry committed to Mississippi in June.
But the 6-foot-4, 215-pound Standberry never shut down the recruiting process, listening to schools and coaches throughout the process.
And recent interest has come from the new staff at the University of Louisville. That's where Standberry will make his final visit this weekend, checking out the Cardinals.
Standberry is ranked as the No. 61 tight end prospect in the nation and is a three-star. U of L is looking for a tight end with just two scholarship players on the current roster at that position, including senior Gerald Christian.
As a senior, Standberry finished with 45 catches for 665 yards and nine touchdowns.
