Scottsdale, Ariz., Community College linebacker Isaiah Riddle is close to making a decision on where he'll finish the final two years of his college eligibility.
The 6-foot-3, 205-pound Riddle finished up his visit to the University of Louisville on Sunday and was headed back to Arizona.
"I have something I am thinking about doing," Riddle said. "But I want to get back, think about it a little more and talk to my parents.
"It was a pretty good visit. I'm not sure what I was really expecting but I liked it a lot there. I just want to make the right decision."
Originally from Northgate High School in Newnan, Ga., idle also listed Kansas State, Memphis and Oklahoma State. He also has offers from Arizona, Hawaii, Wyoming and several other schools.
"It picked up late for me," Riddle said. "I don't know why, but it was just some schools coming in late for me. Louisville called late, so I wanted to see what it was like and I wanted to meet the new staff."
Riddle, who had 61 tackles and two interceptions as a sophomore at Scottsdale, said the staff told him he would be used as an outside linebacker or a defensive player that would use "standing up, coming off the edge."
"I really expected the atmosphere that it was – family type of atmosphere," he said. "But I also wanted to see what type of person coach (Bobby) Petrino was. He seems like a really good guy. They told me some good stuff."
Riddle said with just two years of eligibility left that he has "to make the right decision," for his future. He said he would decide in the coming days."It's hard because it's grind time," he said. "I'm not like a four-year guy, so I need to make the right pick it's critical. I just have to think about it.
" It's really a matter of talking to my family."
