Cards land huge Mississippi OL on signing day

The University of Louisville landed a late addition to the offensive line - and a big one. Madison Central, Miss., lineman Jimmie Taylor signed with the Cardinals on Wednesday.

Looking to add a little beef to the offensive line, University of Louisville football coach Bobby Petrino and his staff found a massive late catch in Mississippi.

Madison, Miss., Central High School lineman Jimmie Terry has committed - and signed - with the Cardinals on Wednesday.

The 6-foot-5, 350-pound Terry is the fourth offensive lineman in the class for the Cardinals. He was just offered a scholarship on Sunday and never visited the U of L campus.

Terry was ranked as the No. 30 player in the Scout.com Mississippi rankings but recruiting expert Yancy Porter called him "a real sleeper," from the state of Mississippi.

A former Georgia Southern commitment, Terry had early interest from Alabama, Mississippi, Mississippi State and LSU.
