The University of Louisville has five signees in the Class of 2014 and the coaches have been working on 2015 in recent months.
The Cardinals don't have any commitments in the '15 class but have plenty of prospects looking at the program. U of L is listed with 21 of the new top 100 prospects in the Class of 2015, which was released today by Scout.com.
Among the players the Cardinals are in on is No. 1 ranked Ivan Rabb, a power forward from Oakland, Calif. Rabb recently narrowed his list to 12 schools, including U of L.
The Cardinals are also listed with No. 5 Stephen Zimmerman of Las Vegas, No. 6 Chieck Diallo, No. 9 Jaylen Brown, No. 10 Elijah Thomas, No. 14 Luke Kennard, No. 16 Justin Simon and No. 18 Chase Jeter.
U of L is also in the mix with No. 21 Dwayne Bacon, No. 26 Isaiah Briscoe and No. 27 Chance Comanche.
One of the top targets for the Cardinals in the '15 class is Orlando shooting guard Antonio Blakeney, who is ranked No. 39.
Other potential targets: No. 40 Brandon Ingram, No. 44 Jesse Govan, No. 57 Bryant Crawford, No. 57 Perry Dozier, No. 74 Brandon Sampson, No. 75 Raymond Spalding, No. 84 KeVaughan Allen, No. 85 New Williams and No. 96 Alex Owens.
Spalding is the lone in-state prospect on the list. He's a 6-foot-10 junior at Trinity.
