Arkansas athlete lands Louisville offer

The University of Louisville football staff handed out about 15 offers in the Class of 2015 on Wednesday, including one to Nashville, Ark., athlete La'Michael Pettway. Cardinal Authority has the latest on the standout.

The recruiting process has picked up in recent weeks for Nashville, Ark., three-star athlete LaMichael Pettway.

The 6-foot-4, 195-pound Pettway is considered an elite wide receiver but also plays on the defensive side of the ball at Nashville.

And he's starting to get offers.

Pettway reports his latest offer came on Wednesday from the University of Louisville, adding to offers from Alabama, Nebraska, Mississippi and Arkansas State.

"Yes sir," Pettway said. "(Louisville) offered and I'm excited about it."

Pettway also reports interest from USC, Auburn, Arkansas, Texas Tech, LSU, Oklahoma State and several other schools.

As a junior, Pettway had over 1,600 all-purpose yards. He rushed for 263 yards and two touchdowns and passes for 342 yards and four touchdowns as a quarterback. He also had 56 catches for 1,056 yards and 15 TDs.

He also had 24 tackles, four interceptions and two forced fumbles on defense.
