Cards offer California WR-QB teammates

The University of Louisville offered Newhall, Calif., Hart High School quarterback Brady White last week and on Tuesday offered his top wide receiver - Trent Irwin. Cardinal Authority has the latest on the two offers.

One of the top quarterbacks in the country, Newhall, Calif., William Hart High School signal caller Brady White landed a scholarship offer from the University of Louisville last week.

On Tuesday, the Cardinals also offered White's top target - wide receiver Trent Irwin.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Irwin is one of the more polished wide receivers on the West Coast and ranks as the No. 27 wide receiver in the Class of 2015 nationally by Scout.com.

Irwin has also recently landed offers from Washington, Arizona State Stanford, Penn State and Indiana and already had several others, including California and Colorado.

As a junior, Irwin finished with 76 receptions for 1,456 yards and 19 touchdowns. He fad 53 catches for 1,056 yards and 10 TDs as a sophomore.

The 6-foot-3, 190-pound White threw for 4,535 yards and 41 TDs as a junior.
