Cards offer pair from Cincinnati Winton Woods

The University of Louisville football staff offered a pair of top prospects from Cincinnati Winton Woods High School on Wednesday. Cardinal Authority has the latest on the two prospects.

The scholarship offers keep rolling out of the University of Louisville football complex.

On Wednesday, it was a pair of linemen from Cincinnati Winton Woods - George Brown and Noah Listermann - who picked up offers.

Both players announced the offer from the Cardinals via Twitter.

The 6-foot-6, 260-pound Brown has over 40 scholarship offers and recently visited Cincinnati. He's also already visited USC, UCLA, Auburn, Kentucky, Florida and Michigan State among several others.

Brown is a three-star prospect and ranked as the No. 40 offensive tackle in the country but plays both sides of the ball and is getting looked at by many as a defensive lineman for college. He visited U of L several times when Charlie Strong was the coach and is expected to come back to check out the new staff.

The 6-7, 270-pound Listermann is a three-star offensive lineman who also has offers from Cincinnati, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois and Toledo.

U of L was in the mix just before signing day with Winton Woods defensive lineman Daniel Cage, who signed with Notre Dame over U of L and Michigan State.
