The four-star target will certainly have more school's following suit, but five currently stand out for Gray.
On Tuesday, he listed "Oklahoma,Kansas,Louisville,Baylor, and Houston" as his current favorites.
"Its pretty much their offense and their program that sticks out to me," he said of the five listed schools.
Louisville is one of the most recent to offer a scholarship. Playing in the Bobby Petrino run offense has him intrigued about the possibility of becoming a Cardinal.
"They been looking at me but they just started recruiting me hard," Gray explained. "I have them in my top five because I picture myself running their offense."
He currently has no visits planned, but hopes to narrow things down for eventual official visits during the coming summer months.
"I'm going to make up my mind on my five visits during the summer," he said.
As a junior, Gray rushed for 1,093 yards and reached the end zone 19 times. He earned First Team All-Conference for his efforts.
"A great athlete who is that new age multi-talented offensive weapon," said Scout.com recruiting analyst Greg Powers of Gray's talent. "He is a speed player, who relies on his quickness and open field abilities. He is not the type of player that has elite level top end speed, but is fast enough to be the man when he steps on the field under the Friday night lights. Does not play against elite competition, so that will be a question that needs answering. His speed and style of play should translate."
