Cards latest to offer Miami star DB

The University of Louisville football staff has been offering prospects from all over the country, but the Cardinals still want some of the best from Florida. On Thursday, U of L became the latest to offer Miami, Fla., Norland defensive back Carlton Davis. Cardinal Authority has the latest.

In recent weeks weeks, Miami, Fla., Norland defensive back Carlton Davis has added scholarship offers from Miami, Florida, Alabama and Clemson just to name a few.

On Thursday, the University of Louisville jumped into the mix with Davis.

The 6-foot-2, 185-pound Davis is a three-star prospect and considered the No. 39 cornerback in the country by Scout.com.

Davis also has offers from LSU, Duke, Arkansas, Cincinnati, South Carolina, Kentucky, North Carolina and South Florida.

U of L already has two players on the roster from Miami Norland - linebacker Keith Brown and fullback Lamar Atkins.
