Jacksonville, Ill., offensive lineman Gabe Megginson has over 25 scholarship offers from some of the top schools across the country. One of those came recently from the University of Louisville, a school Megginson said he would like to visit.

Jacksonville, Ill., offensive lineman Gabe Megginson has a plethora of scholarship offers from schools all over the country and has made a few visits. One of the schools Megginson said he "would love to see" is Louisville after the Cardinals offered him a scholarship last week.

"It's going well," he said. "It's been a great time. I always wanted this for sure. I'm just taking it all in and seeing what each coach says to me.

"I'm trying to learn more about (Louisville) and some of the other programs. I'd like to make a visit, I would really like to see the campus."

Megginson recently visited Nebraska and has unofficial visits scheduled to North Carolina State, Ohio State and Missouri. His offers are from all over the place, including Ohio State, Penn State, Wisconsin and Michigan State.

"I love when I visit a school and they stick out to you for a couple of days," he said. "But I still don't have any leaders right now.

"I'm just trying to learn about them all."

Megginson helped his team to a 7-4 record last season and said he still needs to improve on the field for his high school team.

"I try to always work on technique and strength, explosiveness," he said. "I am working on that all of the time. I can get better."
