Two future members of the University of Louisville women's basketball team will be on the national stage this week.
Myisha Hines-Allen and Mariya Moore are both in Chicago and will participate on Wednesday night in the McDonald's All-American game.
The game is slated for 7 p.m. EST and can be seen on ESPN. The boys' game is set for 9.
Hines-Allen is a 6-foot-2 wing who is considered a top 20 prospect nationally. She is from Montclair, N.J., and was a member of the New Jersey first-team All-State squad.
Hines-Allen finished her career as the school's all-time leading scorer at 1,804 career points. She also led Montclair with 569 points, 306 rebounds, 146 assists, 40 blocks and 89 steals in her final season.
Moore is a 6-foot wing from Salesian, Calif., who helped her team to the CIF Open Division state championship last weekend. She had 16 points and 10 rebounds in the final game loss.
Moore averaged 17.9 points, 8.6 rebounds, 7.2 assists and 3.6 steals as a senior. She is also considered one of the top 30 players in the country in the Class of 2014.
Both will enroll at U of L in June.
