Bailey Sharp has 23 college scholarship offers and has made plenty of campus visits.
On Tuesday, the 6-foot-5, 290-pound offensive tackle from Marietta, Ga., Sprayberry High School stopped into the University of Louisville for an unofficial visit to watch spring practice.
Sharp spent time watching the Cardinals practice, took a tour of the campus, met about academics and had a chat with the coaches.
"I saw an awful lot of good things there," Sharp said. "They have some really good players and the facilities are great. The dorms they have are very cool. I haven't seen dorms like that at any other visit I've been on, they were cool.
"I liked what I had to see there."
Sharp is the No. 25 ranked offensive tackle in the country, according to Scout.com, and has offers from Georgia, Clemson, Auburn, Florida, Georgia Tech, South Carolina, Virginia, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and others.
"I'm fortunate," he said. "I have a lot of good options, I'm just trying to find the best school for me. (Louisville) is in that mix, with a bunch of other schools."
Sharp said he's not sure how he'll narrow his list but wants to cut it to a few before the start of his senior season in August.
He's expected to visit South Carolina today and will make a few more visits in the coming weeks to schools on his list.
"My family is trying to make sure I learn everything I can to make the best decision for me," Sharp said.
