University of Louisville football coach Bobby Petrino was pleased with his team's scrimmage on Saturday and had to be elated with the turnout his program had for Junior Day.
The Cardinals hosted around 30 prospects from all over the country for Junior Day.
The prospects spent time watching the Cardinals scrimmage, had some lunch, met with coaches, spent some time in the facilities and took a tour of the campus.
Cardinal Authority will have reaction from the prospects when they leave campus.
Among the top prospects in attendance were Rocky Reid, Troy Thingstad and Kalin Heath.
Reid is a three-star running back from Concord, N.C., while Heath is a three-star linebacker Kalin Heath of Cartersville, Ga. Thingstad is a defensive lineman from Mobile, Ala.
Powder Springs, Ga., offensive lineman Chandler Jones, Ellaville, Ga., running back Lotravious Minter and the Pascagoula, Miss., trio of Jaylen Smith, Randy Hogan and Keith Joseph were also on campus, along with Warner Robbins, Ga., offensive lineman Brandon Sandifer.
Wayne, Ohio, defensive end Guy Victoria and Johns Creek, Ga., linebacker Turner Fortin were also among the prospects.
Among the in-state prospects were Henderson County lineman Mason Wolfe, Trinity running back Donald Brooks, Ballard defensive end Sean Hammonds, Doss linebacker Ramone Kelly and Warren Central's Emmitt Smith.
