Big Georgia OL make a visit to Louisville

With seven offers already in hand, Warner Robins, Ga., Northside offensive lineman Brandon Sandifer made the trip to Louisville on Saturday for Junior Day. Sandifer expects the Cardinals could be offer No. 8 and likes what he saw at U of L.

Warner Robins, Ga., Northside offensive lineman Brandon Sandifer has been on visits to South Carolina, Clemson and Alabama.

So, the 6-foot-4, 330-pound Sandifer knows what he's looking for when he gets on a campus and said he was "really impressed" by his visit to Louisville on Saturday for Junior Day.

"It was pretty nice, I liked it a lot," he said. "I really liked the intensity of the players and the coaches during practice and it just really seemed like a family atmosphere."

Sandifer said he had time to speak with offensive line coach Chris Klenakis and head coach Bobby Petrino after watching the Cardinals go through a two-hour practice.

He was told a coach would be making a visit soon to watch him in spring ball.

"I liked coach K a lot," he said. "He was fun to watch and is intense with the guys. He looked like he's a very good coach."

Sandifer said he has offers from Alabama, Florida, South Carolina, Cincinnati, Arkansas and Ohio State and interest from a ton of others.

With a few months until his senior season, Sandifer said he wasn't in a rush to make any kind of decision. He said the U of L coaches want him to come back for camp this summer and he is "hoping to plan a trip" back to Louisville.

Sandifer is ranked as the No. 43 offensive lineman in the country by When asked his strength, Sandifer said "I am really good at run blocking."
