A few U of L signees expected at Spring Game

The University of Louisville football staff will have a few recruits and some of the Class of 2014 signees in attendance tonight at Papa John' Cardinal Stadium for the Spring Game.

University of Louisville football coach Bobby Petrino said his staff won't have many future recruiting targets in attendance tonight for the Spring Game at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium.

"We will have some recruits in," said Petrino, noting last week's Junior Day went well.

But the prospects that Petrino and his staff will host tonight are members of U of L's Class of 2014, who will enroll in June.

"We will have a number of our signees here," he said. "The parents get to know each other and get ready to be part of the family for the next four or five years."

Cardinal Authority has confirmed a few prospects who will be in attendance, including Memphis cornerback Cornelius Sturghill.

Ohio lineman Danny Burns and Ohio tight end Micky Crum also confirmed they will be at the spring game tonight at Papa John's.

Indianapolis lineman Lukayas McNeil said he was hoping to make it but has a track meet, while Trumaine Washington has his Senior Bash and Henry Famurewa has plans with his family.

Cardinal Authority will keep you posted on the players - and recruits - who attend and will have complete reaction after the game.
