Cards offer Louisiana standout safety

River Ridge, La., John Curtis safety Hunter Dale landed an offer on Friday from the University of Louisville. Dale is a three-star prospect and said the offer from U of L is his 18th overall.

The scholarship offers have been rolling in lately for River Ridge, La., John Curtis three-star safety Hunter Dale.

The 6-foot, 185-pound Dale landed offer No. 18 on Friday, this one from Louisville.

In recent weeks, Dale has landed offers from Florida, Indiana, Utah, Minnesota, Tennessee, Penn State and Nebraska. He also has offers from Arizona State, Miami, UCLA and Mississippi.

Dale is ranked as the No. 43 safety in the country, according to Scout.com.

At John Curtis, Dale plays for one of the top programs in the country. John Curtis has been ranked in the Scout Top 50 each of the past two years and was the 2012 national champions.

As a junior, Dale had eight of his team's 13 interceptions.
