Louisville lands first 2015 commitment

University of Louisville football coach Bobby Petrino has landed his first verbal commitment in the Class of 2015. Olive Branch, Miss., free safety TJ Jallow has committed to the Cardinals. Cardinal Authority has more on the commitment.

Just hours before his first Spring Football Game back at the University of Louisville, Bobby Petrino has his first commitment in 2015.

Olive Branch, Miss., free safety and under-the-radar prospect TJ Jallow tweeted earlier that he has committed to the Cardinals.

The 6-foot-1, 200-pound Jallow had 44 tackles, one interception and eight pass breakups in nine games as a junior at Olive Branch.

Jallow, who has had interest from Mississippi State and Texas among others, reportedly runs around a 4.4-second 40-yard dash.

Olive Branch is the same school where former U of L commitment Ross Trail is the quarterback. Trail committed to Charlie Strong when he was at U of L but has since re-opened the process. He's expected at tonight's Spring Game.
