Las Vegas High School forward Ray Smith narrowd his list of schools to 10 on Tuesday night, including the University of Louisville. Smith has been a U of L target for a few months with the interest picking up in recent weeks by the Cardinals. Cardinal Authority has the latest.

Las Vegas High School forward Ray Smith said recently he was thinking about narrowing his list of schools in the college recruitment, in order to focus on a few programs.

On Tuesday night, Smith announced via Twitter that he had narrowed the list to 10.

The University of Louisville made the cut, along with nine others - Arizona, Arizona State, UCLA, USC, Georgetown, Texas, Wake Forest, California and Oregon.

The 6-foot-7 Smith said recently he had to take "a long look" at U of L and has always had the Cardinals high on his list.

Wyking Jones has been recruiting Smith for a while and Rick Pitino officially offered him a scholarship two weeks ago.

"It's another place that I think I could possibly see myself calling home. I'll have to look but I think it's a place that could be the right fit for me."

Smith is ranked as the No. 29 player in the Class of 2015 by Scout.com and checks in as the No. 6 small forward in the class.
