Cardinal Authority sits down for five questions with 2015 basketball target Deng Adel, who is from Australia and playing at Bradenton, Fla., Victory Rock Prep.
Cardinal Authority: You came to the U.S. from Australia last fall. What's been the biggest difference or adjustment for you?
Adel: "Just the speed of the game and the athletes. Thers's not as many athletes in Australia, so that was a really big difference for me when I came here. But I'm adjusted."
CA: So, what are some of the reasons you came to the States?
Adel: "Because of the exposure and just to get better. I wanted to come and get some exposure in basketball. I really wanted to come here and do what I am doing now. So that's been fun. But I am not finished yet."
CA: Your recruitment has really heated up this spring, has that been fun?
Adel: "It's been crazy but I can't worry about it. I let coach deal with all of that and I just try to improve. I have to focus on that and not on the recruiting.
CA: You said ballhandling and some other improvements are what you need the most. How are things going?
Adel: "I think it's going well. I am just trying to have fun and seeing what my future holds. It's been fun so far."
