Louisville among early offers for 2016 DT

Last week the Cardinals became one of the first to offer Spring (Tex.) High School defensive lineman Bravvion Roy. Cardinal Authority has more.

Louisville became one of the first to extend a scholarhship offer 2016 defensive lineman Bravvion Roy of Spring (Tex.) High School.

"Yes, they offered and I am very interested," Roy told Cardinal Authority.

The Cardinals joins Baylor, Illinois, Missouri and Syracuse as programs making an offer to the 6-foot-1, 285-pound junior to be.

With the exception of seeing the Cardinals games on national television, Roy doesn't know much about what the program has to offer, but he's looking forward to learning more.

"I really hadn't heard from them a lot and have watched them but need to get to know more about the program," he said. "I am interested in learning more about them."

Already a dominating presence along the defensive front, Roy will continue to attract attention from college coaches from around the country. Texas A&M and Utah State have recently watched him perform and he hopes to visit a handful of schools this summer. TCU and Texas are also expressing early interest.
