Atlanta Lakeside three-start offensive lineman Mike Horton narrows his list to 16 schools and the University of Louisville made the cut. Cardinal Authority has the latest on Horton.

Atlanta Lakesside three-star offensive lineman Mike Horton picked up an offer from Alabama over the weekend and then narrowed his list.

The 6-foot-4, 305-pound Horton tweeted that he was narrowing to "a top 16, not 20."

The University of Louisville was on the narrowed list for Horton, ranked as the No. 42 offensive guard in the Class of 2015 by Scout.

The list from Horton is a list of some of the top programs from across the country.

Horton tweeted it included: Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Miami, Fla., Tennessee, Central Florida, Vanderbilt, Georgia, Georgia Tech, LSU, Mississippi, Mississippi State, North Carolina, Duke and Ohio State.

Horton told Scout.com recently that he was "a long way" from making a decision. He plans on seeing many of the schools on his list this spring and summer.
