Five-star North Carolina prospect Brandon Ingram said last month that he certainly wasn't tied to staying in-state for college.
All four major in-state schools - North Carolina, Duke, N.C. State and Wake Forest - have offered and are still in the mix.
But on Thursday, Ingram said he will take a trip to the Bluegrass State. The 6-foot-8, 190-pound Ingram will make a visit to the University of Louisville and also to Kentucky during his high school dead period next month.
"I want to get there to see both of those schools," Ingram said at the adidas Unrivaled event. "I want to check them out," he added he would also likely make return visits to all four of the in-state schools.
Ingram, ranked as the No. 26 prospect in the Class of 2015 by Scout.com, has offers from the in-state schools and said U of L, Kentucky, VCU, Florida and Kansas are also showing a lot of interest in his game.
"It's a lot of schools," he said. "I was supposed to maybe cut down my list but I will do that later, it didn't happen.
"I'll narrow it down a bit after the summer and after taking some visits."
For the second time in a month, Ingram said Louisville was "way up there," on his list.
"I like them a lot and I am building a great relationship with the coaches," he said.
