One of the top cornerbacks nationally in the Class of 2016 and a top-100 overall prospect, Shyheim Carter has a long list of offers.
The 5-foot-11, 185-pound Carter added another on Friday when the University of Louisville extended a scholarship offer.
Carter is ranked as the No. 6 cornerback and the No 71 player overall by Scout.com in '16. He is a four-star prospect.
Several reports having Carter favoring Alabama, Georgia and Clemson, all three have offered, while LSU still hasn't offered.
Carter also has offered from Mississippi State, Tulane, Texas A&M, Southern Miss and several other schools.
National analyst Chad Simmons recently watched Carter and had this to say:
"Carter is such an athlete. He showed wide receiver-like hands throughout the drills early, then he picked off three passes in the 1on1 session. He has that quick twitch and he can turn and open up those hips. He also is not scared to mix it up physically with the big receivers. Georgia offered before the camp ended."
