One of the top performers during the July evaluation period, four-star guard Donovan Mitchell trimmed his list to ten schools last week. Last Thursday, Mitchell announced that Boston College, Creighton, Florida State, Georgetown, Indiana, Kansas, Louisville, North Carolina, Providence and Villanova comprised his initial short list.
His list became even shorter on Sunday.
A senior at Wolfeboro (N.H.) Brewster Academy, the 6-foot-3 prospect announced via Twitter that he was down to five schools. Louisville, along with Boston College, Florida State, Providence and Villanova make up his final five.
Mitchell, who has scholarship offers from each of his finalists, has scheduled an official visit with Louisville on August 7th and 8th.
