Green had been to U of L during the spring but made it back to campus to watch a couple of fall practices. He was joined by cross town rival - but friend - Keaton Torre, a quarterback from Edmond, Okla., Santa Fe.
"I love it," Green said. "I had been once before but it was great to be back.
"I can't wait to become a factor myself. I love everything they're about."
Green, who committed to U of L in June, said he hopes to return for a game. He'll sign in February and arrive on campus next summer.
"It was fun being there and seeing them being more serious (than in the spring)," Green said. "It was good to see and I really like the staff. I can't wait to play for them."
The 6-foot-4, 205-pound Green is ranked as the No. 56 wide receiver in the country and a three-star prospect by Scout.com.
As a junior, Green had 39 catches for 693 yards and 10 touchdowns.
