UofL baseball receives commit from Ohio lefty

6'5 lefty Adam Wolf of Milan (Oh.) Edison High School committed to the Cardinals on Thursday

The University of Louisville baseball program received added to its impressive 2015 recruiting class on Thursday.

Milan (Oh.) Edison High School pitcher Adam Wolf pledged to the Cardinals over interest from a host of others, including Michigan, Pittsburgh, Notre Dame, Vanderbilt, Virginia Tech, West Virginia.

The 6-foot-5, 210-pound lefty has a fast ball that hovers in the upper 80s, with solid off speed pitchers.

One of the top prep prospects in the Buckeye State, Wolf was named 1st Team All-Conference and 2nd Team All-District following the 2013 season. He's also considered one of the top draft high school prospects in the state.

He earned Top Prospect Award at Ohio's third annual Top Prospect Game in June.

He also plays first base and outfield for Edison.
