Blakeney set for visit with U of L

Orlando, Fla., Oak Ridge shooting guard Antonio Blakeney will begin his first official on Sunday afternoon when he lands in Louisville. Blakeney will be making the trip this weekend with his mother. He's a top 2015 target for U of L.

The University of Louisville basketball program has made Orlando, Oak Ridge High School shooting guard Antonio Blakeney a recruiting priority for almost two years.

On Sunday, Blakeney will make his official visit to Louisville. It will be his fourth trip to the city in the past two years.

The 6-foot-4 Blakeney is expected to arrive in town with his mother on Sunday afternoon. He will stay until Tuesday morning.

Ranked as the No. 21 player in the Class of 2015, Blakeney recently narrowed his list to Florida State, Louisville, Missouri, Kentucky, Oregon, LSU and USC.

Blakeney could be the final piece to an impressive recruiting haul for Rick Pitino and U of L. Donovan Mitchell, Raymond Spalding and Deng Adel have already committed to the Cardinals.

South Carolina point guard Perry Dozier, who was expected to visit this weekend, has rescheduled for the Oct. 3 weekend.
