It's back on.

Originally scheduled to make an official with the University of Louisville in early October, four star guard Perry Dozier cancelled that trip when Antonio Blakeney committed to the Cardinals and appeared to close recruiting for Pitino and his staff for the 2015 class.

With Blakeney choosing to reconsider his options and Pitino electing to discontinue recruiting the former pledge, U of L quickly turned to Dozier to fill the now open scholarship.

Pitino, along with assistant Kenny Johnson, made the trip to Columbia, S.C., on Wednesday evening.

"It went very well," Perry Dozier, Sr., informed Cardinal Authority. "They were here for about two and half hours or so. It was a great visit."

With four of five allowed official visits already scheduled, Pitino made it a point of emphasis to secure the final trip during the in-home visit.

"You knew that was going to come up," said Dozier, Sr., who added that they were working to solidify a date.

Cardinal Authority has confirmed that the trip has now been set, with the 6-foot-6 point guard slated to visit Halloween weekend, arriving on October 30. He'll attend the nationally televised Thursday night contest at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium when the Cardinals host defending national champion Florida State.

Louisville and Maryland were vying for his last official prior to the visiting with the Dozier's on Wednesday.

"It shouldn't be to big of a surprise, because Louisville has always been in P.J.'s top five," he added.

Dozier also has official visits set with Michigan (Sept. 26), North Carolina (Oct. 3), Georgetown (Oct. 17) and South Carolina (Oct. 24).

"We're excited about Louisville," he said. "It's a really nice program and we like the coaches. Everything is a nice fit."

Dozier currently has no other in-home visits scheduled.
