Miami commit setting Louisville visit

Pembroke Pines (Fla.) Flanagan wide receiver Emonee Spence plans to make an official visit with the Cardinals.

Pembroke Pines (Fla.) Flanagan wide receiver Emonee Spence collected scholarship offers from Auburn, Cincinnati, Illinois, Louisville, South Florida, USC and others during the early stages of the recruiting process, but chose to make a pledge to the hometown University of Miami in January.

While still committed to the Hurricanes, the three-star prospect informed Florida recruiting analyst Corey Bender that he plans to schedule an official visit with the Cardinals program.

Louisville, which has defeated fellow ACC member Miami three consecutive times by a combined score of 98-29, has recruited south Florida heavily in recent years and the recent success against the local school continues to help the Cardinals recruiting profile in the Sunshine State.

Spence, who ranks among the nation's top 100 receivers, totaled 27 catches for 401 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior.
