VIDEO: Cardinals talk following Clemson loss

CLEMSON, S.C. -- A last-second attempt fell short for the University of Louisville on Saturday afternoon, as the visiting Cardinals dropped to 5-2 overall after a 23-17 loss at Clemson.

The University of Louisville dropped a defensive thriller in 'Death Valley' on Saturday afternoon, falling 23-17 to the host Clemson Tigers in front of a sold-out crowd of 81,500 at Memorial Stadium.

Despite out-performing Clemson statistically on both sides of the ball, the Cardinals couldn't capitilize at the end when a Will Gardner 4th and goal attempt from the Clemson 2-yard line fell short.

Louisville is now 5-2 overall and 3-2 in ACC play.
