Chattanooga, Tenn., Notre Dame standout Kareem Orr has landed scholarship offers from Washington State and Arizona State in the last week.
But Orr said those offers won't matter with his commitment.
The 6-foot, 185-pound, three-star safety committed to the University of Louisville in June. He made another visit to U of L's campus over the weekend for the North Carolina State game and said he should be considered a "solid" commitment to the Cardinals.
"The visit was just great," said Orr, who was also at the Miami game to open the season. "I had a great time and they are very solid.
"The defense is really, really good."
Orr said he would make other visits before signing day but when asked if he would end up signing with the Cardinals, he responded: "Yes, sir."
As a junior, he finished with 1,724 all-purpose yards with 15 touchdowns and had five interceptions. Two of those interceptions were returned for touchdowns. As a sophomore, Orr had 1,105 all-purpose yards with 18 TDs, scoring five different ways - a kick return, a punt return, an interception return, a rush and a pass.
He held 15 scholarship offers before committing to Louisville.
