The University of Louisville football will welcome a number of recruits when it host second-ranked Florida State at Papa John's Cardinal Stadium on Thursday night.
The impressive of list of prospects expected includes a few that will be making official visits including Arizona Western College three-star tight end Raymond Epps. The 6-foot-5, 235-pound prospect is one of a few that are currently committed elsewhere that will be visiting.
A former wide receiver at Indianapolis Warren Central, Epps committed to Arizona State in the spring and remains firmly committed to the Sun Devils.
“I'm 100 percent,” he said. “I love that school and I'm really happy with the coaches and everything there. I just want to see a good game and see what Louisville is all about.”
Part of the attraction to check out the Cardinals program is head coach Bobby Petrino and his utilization of the tight end.
“I like how Bobby Petrino runs his team,” he explained. “The offense that he has is great, so I want to check that out.”
Epps is on pace to graduate in December and will have three years to play two.
