Louisville downs Barry, 91-71, in exhibition

The University of Louisville men's basketball program won its 31st consecutive exhibition game with a 91-71 win over Barry University on Saturday at the KFC Yum! Center. The Cardinals were outrebounded but had four starters in double figures.

With four starters in double figures, the University of Louisville men's basketball team made its debut against another foe a successful one.

The Cardinals did get outrebounded but still blew past Barry University, 91-71, before 19,237 fans at the KFC Yum Center on Saturday afternoon.

Wayne Blackshear led the way with 22 points, four rebounds and three assists, while Montrezl Harrell had 18 points and five rebounds.

Terry Rozier chipped in 15 points, eight rebounds and seven assists, while not turning the ball over in 32 minutes. Mangok Mathiang added 11 points and eight rebounds, while Chris Jones had nine points and five assists.

Freshman Chinanu Onuaku came off the bench for five points and eight rebounds, while Anton Gill added eight points.

The Cardinals were outrebounded 53-41 and gave up 29 offensive rebounds. U of L shot 37 of 71 from the field, including 7 of 23 three-pointers.
