With the extra time off before all attention focuses on the November 22 game at Notre Dame, the University of Louisville coaches are able to spend extra time working on the future of the team.
Among the many recruits that they are reaching out to this week, a rising prospect from the Lone Star State learned this week that the Cardinals staff would like to include him in their future plans.
Malik Jemison, a prospect at Skyline (Tex.) High School is the most recent prospect to receive an offer from Louisville. The Cardinals extended the official offer on Thursday morning.
Jemison is a 6-foot-2, 230-pounds linebacker who also holds offers from New Mexico and Tulsa.
