Louisville offers former Miami OL commitment

The University of Louisville football staff has extended an offer to Miramar, Fla., offensive lineman Leeward Brown, a former Miami commitment. Cardinal Authority has the latest on Brown.

Miramar, Fla., massive offensive lineman Leeward Brown announced his decommitment from %%MATCH_7%% in late October and has seen interest pick up since from schools.

The 6-foot-4, 340-pound added a scholarship offer from Louisville on Saturday.

Brown, who confirmed the offer via his Twitter account, now also has offers from Miami, West Virginia, East Carolina, Cincinnati, %%MATCH_6%% and several others.

A three-star prospect, Brown is ranked as the No. 71 offensive guard in the country. He is a big, strong, physical lineman who uses his body to his advantage.

Brown had committed to Miami in February but was still looking around. He said in September that he was shutting down his recruitment and was firm to the Hurricanes, but Tweeted on Oct. 28 that he was going to "weight his options."
