The University of Louisville entered its home-opener against Jacksonville State on Monday night as a near 40 point favorite. Fueled by five players scoring in double figures, the Cardinals built a 30 point halftime lead and cruised to a 88-39 victory.
All-American forward Montrezl Harrell led the Cardinals with 15 points, with Terry Rozier adding 13 points. Wayne Blackshear and Chinanu Onuaku each scored 12 points and Chris Jones contributed 10 points.
Freshman Onuaku recorded his first double-double, grabbing 10 rebounds to lead the Cardinals 34 edge on the boards.
