Miami Killian sophomore running back Bentavious Thompson is having of the best seasons in school history and is now getting the college attention.
Thompson, who rushed for 164 yards in a win over Southwest last week in the playoffs, became the first Killian running back since Lamar Miller to surpass the 1,000-yard mark. Miller is now playing for the Miami Dolphins.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Thompson is a member of the Class of 2017 and now has two scholarship offers with plenty of others likely to follow.
Thompson was offered by South Florida and on Thursday added an offer from the University of Louisville football staff.
U of L has had several players from Killian in recent years, including true freshman cornerback Trumaine Washington.
