Pettway set for Louisville official visit

Nashville (Ark.) High School three-star prospect LaMichael Pettway committed to Arkansas last month, but he'll check out Louisville this weekend

Nashville (Ark.) High School wide receiver LaMichael Pettway will be among the large group of recruits making an official visit with the University of Louisville this weekend.

Pettway is a three-star wide receiver that has attracted attention from a host of programs, collecting scholarship offers from Alabama, Arkansas, Louisville, Nebraska, Ole Miss and others. He committed to Ole Miss early in the process, but changed his pledge to Arkansas last month.

The 6-foot-4, 200-pound splits time on both sides of the ball, also playing in the secondary at safety. He recorded over receiving 500 yards and 12 touchdowns on offense, while also registering 28 tackles and 5 interceptions.

"He looks to be very explosive with or without the ball in his hands," said Scout.com National Recruiting Analyst Yancy Porter. "We like the way he catches the ball with his hands and uses his body to shield the defenders."

Pettway joins 10 others making an official visit with Louisville this weekend. Visit the Insiders Forum to view the entire list by clicking here.
