Thon Maker stops by Louisville

Thon Maker, the No. 4 prospect in the Class of 2016 basketball rankings, and his brother - Matur - stopped by Louisville on Monday for an unofficial visit. Maker will also visit the Cardinals on Tuesday night for the Ohio State game.

Orangeville (Ont.) Athlete Institute played a pair of games in Lexington over the weekend and will participate in the Marshall County HoopFest this weekend.

So, star 2016 prospect Thon Maker is getting in some college visits.

The 7-foot Maker and his brother - '17 6-10 prospect Matur Maker - visited Kentucky on Sunday and on Monday stopped by Louisville and watched the Cardinals practice.

Maker, according to national analyst Evan Daniels, will be an unofficial visitor to the KFC Yum! Center on Tuesday night to watch U of L play Ohio State at 9:35 p.m. the ACC/Big Ten Challenge.

Maker is listed as the No. 4 prospect in the Class of 2016 but he is considering skipping a grade and reclassifying into the '15 class.

Among the schools showing the most interest for Thon Maker are U of L, UK, Kansas, Missouri, Maryland, Stanford and Maryland.

The Maker brothers are originally from Sudan and Thon Maker played two seasons in Virginia before going to the school in Ontario prior to this season.
