Arizona Western College tight end Raymond Epps is committed to Arizona State and said he's "pretty firm" on that commitment.
But Epps also knows he has a "very good" second option.
The 6-foot-5, 235-pound Epps was the first player University of Louisville head coach Bobby Petrino went to see on his trip out West this week.
"I was glad to see him," Epps said. "I liked Louisville when I was there on my visit and he said he wanted me to keep them in mind.
"I'm firm but you never know and it's good to know I have them (after him)."
Epps said the plan is to sign in a couple of weeks with Arizona State and enroll in January, but he noted he would "think about" what Petrino told him.
"He talked to me about how I would be in their offense and the need they have for next year," Epps said. "I like him a lot, so it was good to talk to him."
Epps said he's going to graduate this month.
