Louisville darts past Indiana, 94-74 in MSG

The University of Louisville basketball team got career highs from Terry Rozier and Chris Jones and another monster performance by Montrezl Harrell in a 94-74 win over Indiana on Tuesday night at Madison Square Garden in New York in the Jimmy V Classic.

Terry Rozier and Chris Jones has career nights, while Montrezl Harrell had seven dunks and became the school's all-time career leader in that category.

And that was enough to help Louisville dart past Indiana 94-74 in the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden in New York.

"That was fun," U of L coach Rick Pitino said.

Rozier, who said he was pumped to play for the first time in the world's most famous arena, had a career-high 26 points and grabbed six rebounds for the Cardinals. Jones added a career-high 24 points along with nine rebounds, six assists and five steals.

Wayne Blackshear chipped in 14 points, while Harrell was 10 of 13 from the field with 21 points and 11 rebounds. His seven dunks tie him with former Cardinals Pervis Ellison for the most in a single-game at U of L.

Harrell now has 163 for his career, one more than Ellison.

James Blackmon Jr. led Indiana (7-2) with 18 points, while Yogi Ferrell finished with 13 points, seven rebounds and five assists.

Louisville (8-0) has won nine in a row in MSG and forced Indiana into 19 turnovers. The Cardinals are 3-0 against the Big Ten this season, also beating Ohio State and Minnesota.

U of L won the rebounding battle 53-34, including 26-10 on offensive boards.
