Holliman, Mauldin named first-team All-ACC

University of Louisville safety Gerod Holliman and linebacker Lorenzo Mauldin have been selected to the All-ACC first team by the leagues coaches. Offensive lineman Jamon Brown and wide receiver DeVante Parker were named to the second team.

University of Louisville safety Gerod Holliman was the lone All-ACC first-team member on the team released last week voted on in the media.

But the Cardinals had another first teamer join Holliman on the listing of top players in the league as voted on by the ACC coaches.

Holliman and senior outside linebacker Lorenzo Maudlin were named to the All-ACC coaches' first-team with wide receiver DeVante Parker and lineman Jamon Brown earning second-team honors from the league coaches.

Defensive tackle Sheldon Rankins and tight end Gerald Christian were named to the third team, while cornerback Charles Gaines and lineman John Miller were honorable mention.

Holliman leads the country in interceptions with 14 and was the runner-up for ACC Denevsive Player of the Year, losing to Clemson's Vic Beasley.
