The University of Louisville coaching staff will welcome a group of prospects on campus this weekend for official visits. Among the talented group is four-star defensive tackle Tim Settle of Stonewall Jackson High School in Manassas, Va.
Last week the 6-foot-2, 339-pound lineman announced a final four comprising of Oklahoma State, USC, Virginia Tech and Washington State. Having made an official visit with each, it appeared that Settle was closing down the recruiting process until he added Louisville to his list earlier this week.
”Settle is very explosive off the ball and plays with great leverage,” said Scout.com Recruiting Analyst Michael Clark. “He is a tremendous athlete with good instincts. When engaged with the offensive lineman, he uses his quick hands and great agility to completely overwhelm his opponent. The Stonewall Jackson star is also a very smart and does a nice job playing under control. He takes good angles when pursuing the football and has a great motor. His best football is ahead of him.”
A member of the Scout 300, Settle is rated as the No.65 prospect in the nation and a top ten defensive tackle prospect.
