Top '16 QB Torre firm on Louisville commit

Three-star 2016 quarterback Keaton Torre is switching high schools for his senior season but confirms his commitment status to Cardinal Authority. Torre committed to the University of Louisville back in October.

Three-star Class of 2016 quarterback Keaton Torre committed to the University of Louisville back in early October, picking the Cardinals over a bunch of schools.

The 6-foot-3, 200-pound Torre just finished his junior season at Edmond, Okla., Santa Fe but told Cardinal Authority that he's moving states for his senior season.

The Oklahoman newspaper reported he will move to Utah for his senior season.

But even with the move, Torre said he was still firm on his commitment to U of L and will sign with the Cardinals in February of 2016.

"Yes, I am still committed," he said in a text. "I am just moving states."

Torre passed for 1,527 yards and 10 touchdowns as a junior after 1,297 yards and nine TDs as a sophomore at Santa Fe.

Torre is one of four commitments for U of L in the '16 class.
