Bailey, a 6-foot-4, 275-pound end, made official visits with Fresno State, Maryland and N.C. State before making a visit with Louisville last weekend. He also considered interest from Purdue, Southern Miss and others before pledging to the Cardinals.
"I liked what I saw after seeing the depth chart and the strength of schedule," told told Cardinal Authority. "They finished 9-3 in their first year in the ACC, so you know they are going in the right direction."
Bailey, a product of Atlanta (Ga.) Bannaker High School, led all Mississippi junior college programs with 10 sacks, to go with 22 tackles for a loss.
Bailey is one of seven prospects expected to sign on Wednesday, which is the first day of the early signing period for junior college and early high school graduates.
