The University of Louisville basketball staff isn't using Saturday's Battle of the Bluegrass game against Kentucky as a major recruiting day because of the holidays.

Many of the top prospects the Cardinals' are targeting are in holiday tournaments, but two of the U of L signees from the Class of 2015 will be in attendance.

Deng Adel and Donovan Mitchell will be at the game against UK with Adel making his official visit this weekend. He had planned for this weekend since before he committed and signed.

The 6-foot-7 Adel is a forward from Bradenton, Fla., Victory Prep and is ranked as the No. 18 player in the Class of 2015 nationally. He signed with the Cardinals in November.

A five-star prospect, Adel is a native of Sudan who lived in Australia before coming to the U.S. to play at Victory Rock.

Mitchell is a 6-foot-3 guard from Wolfeboro, N.H., Brewster Academy and is ranked as the No. 21 prospect in the '15 class.

U of L was trying to get the third member - Trinity's Ray Spalding - to come for a bit but his team has a game in Lexington on Saturday evening.
