Nine of the 15 official visitors for the University of Louisville football team this weekend have already verbally committed to the Cardinals.
The U of L staff will host the players, including top quarterback prospect Lamar Jackson, beginning on Friday through the morning on Sunday.
Jackson, a three-star prospect from Byonton Beach, Fla., is the No. 31 quarterback in the country and is being heavily recruited by other schools. He is expected to visit Mississippi State next weekend and Florida on Jan. 30.
Demopolis, Ala., defensive end Tim Bonner, who is also now being courted by several SEC schools, will also be making his visit. Bonner is the lone high school commitment for the Cardinals listed as a 2-star by Scout.
Lilburn, Ga., Parkview tight end G.G. Robinson is also visiting and getting serious interest from other schools, while Madison, Miss., athlete Trey Smith and Pascagoula, Miss., wide receiver Jaylen Smith are also visiting.
Other commitments expected this weekend include, Atlanta defensive end Aaron Cochran, Powder Springs, Ga., offensive lineman Chandler Jones, Irmo, S.C., running back Matt Colburn and Columbus, Ga., safety Khane Pass.
Joining Pass on the trip will be his brother, Jawon, a 4-star 2016 quarterback also considering the Cardinals.
